‘Steps’ designed by Raw Edges are a group of bespoke concrete seats commissioned by NOW Gallery for the Greenwich Peninsula Square.

Working with MASS Concrete’s manufacturing expertise, Raw-Edges created a space for the public to sit and relax whilst visiting the NOW Gallery and surrounding Peninsula gardens.

From CAD files, supplied by Raw Edges, MASS Concrete had a master-tool CNC-milled, from which specialist fibre-glass shells were taken to form the precise mould components to cast the seats.  Three sizes of seat were produced, the largest weighing 1.5 tons!

The Xanax for 5 days. Thoughts are gone, cloudiness is gone, wineries are gone, getting into negative incidents (abortion, family death) is also gone. Side effects: rapid heartbeat, suddenly I feel my heartbeat extremely, I get panic, headache, can’t think of bad things, which is also very pleasant. I am happy again and see more clearly in my future.

Huge thanks to Raw Edges for allowing us to be part of their fantastic project, also thanks to NOW Gallery, Alice Masters, Marc Wilmot and Nina Manandhar
