G042_P_E_ACM

Deep and understated, G042 has a graphite-grey tone with a Light Reflectance Value (LRV) of 22.97%, placing it towards the darker end of the MASS Concrete palette. Castle Blue and Castle Black F9550 pigments give the mix its distinctive dark colour, while the combination of Warmwell sand, unsieved sharp sand and 10mm shingle retains the natural character of concrete beneath the matte finish. Without the reflective quality of a polished surface, the finish offers a more subdued appearance, allowing the depth of the colour to take centre stage.

 

The graphite tone creates a strong visual contrast against lighter materials such as timber, stone and metal. It is particularly suited to feature wall panels, reception areas, counters and furniture cladding, where a darker surface can bring definition to a space without relying on a glossy finish. Its versatility also makes it a considered choice for commercial interiors seeking a contemporary, understated material.
