Y002_P_LE_RESIN

The Y002_P_LE_RESIN sample showcases a bespoke concrete finish characterised by a distinctive blend of Wilkes yellow sand and black basalt particles, graded from fine dust up to 3mm. The contrast between these aggregates creates a textured surface with natural variation, adding depth and visual interest to the material. Set within a white cement base and enriched with a yellow iron oxide pigment, the combination of warm-toned particles and darker mineral details gives the sample a distinctive character, making it a striking option for architectural applications where aggregate composition plays an important role in the overall design. With a Light Reflectance Value (LRV) of 27.57%, the sample has a relatively low level of light reflectance, contributing to its rich visual appearance.

 

Sustainable sourcing shapes the character of the Y002 mix. Natural sands and mineral aggregates are selected with care, and where available and suitable for the project, locally sourced materials help reduce transportation distances and support regional supply chains. Each bespoke mix is then developed to meet the aesthetic and technical requirements of the project.
